Travel Vaccinations

BACK TO MAIN INDEX

If you need any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you will need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements.

This appointment will include a discussion about which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to find out what vaccinations are required.

It is important to make this first appointment as early as possible- at least 6 weeks before you travel. These vaccines need to be ordered as they are not kept in stock. A second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to administer the vaccines.

For further information about countries and vaccinations required, please visit here.

Kindly note, not all travel vaccines are included in services provided by the NHS.  We only give travel vaccinations available on the NHS.

If you need a vaccine that is not on the NHS we advise that you make an appointment with a travel clinic where you can get these vaccines from.
